JLG and farmer’s clubs have been formed to carry out farming & Non Farming activities for income generation. Farmer clubs were organized in which members of JLG and farmer’s clubs knew techniques like crop rotation, vermicompost, natural farming, good agricultural practices, Paramparagat Krishi Vikas Yojana, credit card, crop insurance, and minimum support price, etc.
We promote farm activities including crop cultivation, plantation, and rearing of animals like sheep, poultry, piggery, dairy, meat, egg production, forestry & logging, and fishing.
Farming activities that involve farmers who own the land and cultivate; laborers who work on others land and earn wages. Whereas the non-farming sector other than agriculture like skill and handholding support for tailoring, beauty parlor, handicraft, bamboo craft, woodcraft, beekeeping were promoted for income generation.
